Thor's Tabletop Saga

New Fleet, Who Dis?

Sadly zero painting time the last week. I've gotten a bit of 3D printing done though with mixed results.

A guy I met over Facebook is in the process of sculpting a 3mm Italian Wars range and I've been running some test prints for him. Initially I tried some at 2mm and 2.5mm and they turned out ok, but not quite what I wanted. He has since resized some of the sculpts to fit 40x40mm bases which is my preferred basing for small scales like this. Currently I have the below landschnekts and gendarmes printing but realised I'm out of nitrile gloves so they'll have to wait for the clean and cure until Saturday.

I've also been playing around with Long Faced Games Krieg am Gardasee rules/STLs. I did an initial test with the ship's reduced 50% to 1/1200 scale but I'm not happy with how fiddly some bits are. Since then I've prepared a couple ships to test at the native 1/600 scale. Hopefully these will print next week.

Lastly I got some more 2mm WSS test prints done. This time cavalry, artillery and commanders. Generally happy with how they turned out!
